The 2012 Oxford Ale Trail is now in full swing. The ale trail runs through to end of December and offers Brakspear drinkers the chance of a FREE T-shirt or Brewery tour whilst enjoying the surroundings of some of Oxford's best known pubs and bars.
Collect a map at any of the participating outlets. Have your map stamped at each venue on purchase of a pint of Brakspear Bitter or Oxford Gold. Once you have collected ten stamps you will be rewarded with your free shirt. If you complete the ale trail in full you can send your completed map to the brewery and we will send you a FREE tour voucher.
Stamps can be collected in any order with the tenth being at either The Dukes Cut or Royal Oak so you can collect your FREE T-shirt. You have until the end of December to complete you trail; you don't have to do it in one session!

Following four rounds of judging involving blind tasting of almost 600 beers from 32 countries Brakspear Triple 6.7% ABV has been awarded "Worlds Best Dark Strong Beer" at the World Beer Awards 2012.
To be voted best in the world against so many other great beers is a phenomenal achievement and is recognition of all the hard work and dedication that goes into producing this wonderful beer.

On Saturday August 25th Brakspear will be joining Leander Club and the proud people of Henley on Thames to welcome home their Olympic heroes. Leander Club added 12 more Olympic medals to their already impressive haul of 99 giving them no less than 111 Olympic medals.
The open-top bus will depart Leander Club at 11.50am and after making its way through the streets Henley will arrive at the Town Hall at 12.35 for a civic reception. Leander Club in Henley on Thames is the most prestigious and successful rowing club in the world with 99 Olympic medals won by its members. This year’s Olympic Games are sure to bring them their 100th medal. Oxfringe will run from 30th May through until 10th June 2012 with comedy, music, literature, drama, dance and family events across the city. The programme will be finalised in March and will be available across the city and at participating venues in late April.
