Henley Boat Races
Brakspear are proud sponsors of the Henley Boat Races taking place on Sunday March 25th, at Henley on Thames, from 1.15pm.
Brakspear Beers will be available from the bar at Remenham Farm so pop along and enjoy the Oxford-Cambridge rivalry with a pint of Brakspear in hand in true Great British fashion.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our online competition to win an overnight stay for two in Oxfordshire. You may recall we asked you to the answer to the following question: What is the abv. of Brakspear Oxford Gold 500ml bottle? The correct answer was 4.6%.
We received an overwhelming response and are pleased to announce that the winner was Mick Norman from Eltham in London. Mick and his guest will be treated to a tour of the brewery and an overnight stay (inc. dinner B&B) in an Oxfordshire hotel.
Rowing for Oxford Gold
Leander Club in Henley on Thames is the most prestigious and successful rowing club in the world with 99 Olympic medals won by its members. This year’s Olympic Games are sure to bring them their 100th medal. To join them on their Olympic journey we have teamed up with Leander Club to give Brakspear drinkers the chance to win a VIP experience and take to the water with a British rowing hero.
There are lots of exciting runners up prizes too including a hot air balloon ride over Oxfordshire, an Oxford Gold picnic river boat cruise, a helicopter ride over the Oxford Spires, Brewery tours, Brakspear glasses, Leander Club kit bags and Leander Club baseball caps. Brakspear is proud to be headline sponsors of the Oxford fringe festival for the fourth year.
Oxfringe will run from 30th May through until 10th June 2012 with comedy, music, literature, drama, dance and family events across the city. The programme will be finalised in March and will be available across the city and at participating venues in late April. Leander Dominate Fours Head
Brakspear partner Leander Club, the world’s most successful rowing club, totally dominated proceedings at last weekend’s Fours Head in London. Seven of their crews secured top ten finishes overall, among 455 crews competing; including the Head pennant itself for fastest crew in the competition!
It was an unprecedented result, and a fitting springboard for many of the club’s Olympians, who were racing in their club colours for the last time before London 2012. Keep your eyes peeled next summer as Leander look to win their 100th Olympic Gold Medal! The full news article is available here.
