An exquisite new look for a delicious drop of beer!

We are very excited to reveal Brakspear’s brand new look, including Gravity, the new name for our famous Brakspear Bitter. The new name celebrates the unique Double Dropping system used to brew such a delicious beer!

Double Dropping creates clarity, of sight and flavour. Fermenting for 16 hours before flowing naturally under gravity to a second vessel to begin its unique second fermentation.

More exciting news coming soon!

It is now a week since the pubs reopened their doors. Tell us what you missed most about your pub during lockdown for your chance to win a case of Brakspear. Post your entrie by midnight on Saturday 11th July. A winner will be chosen at random.

I’ve missed watching visitors to the area trying to find the ‘secret’ door to the agents at the Catherine Wheel in Goring. They wander the pub looking bemused, and then eventually ask...even when told they still seem unsure as they push the panel to go in

Being able to sit at the bar and asking for a drink as opposed to having to get up and walk to the fridge yourself and get it - purely a logistical observation 😁

The warm, friendly welcome from staff who already know your tipple...!

Occasionally getting enough Dutch courage to take the guitar off the wall and belt out a number.

Aunt sally & a pint of Gravity 🍻

Being able to get CaskFinder scans.

Missed meeting up with mates and of course cask beer .. 🍻

AND the fact that it's DRAUGHT beer!👍

The girlfriend refuses to put on a mask, serve me beer and then retreat six feet until more beer is needed.

just watching the world go by while supping a few pints

Ive missed the affectionate greeting from a waitress or two😎

The little bits on the bar as nibbles

Friends !

A nice evening out with my wife without the kids.

The crazy old 70s tiling in the hallway ( and the beer 🍺)

Friends - it has been so nice to see people in person, even at a distance (but a beer off the hand pull also taste great!)

The Brakspears bee humming over my pint of double dropped beer.

Certainly not the prices

Nothing,it's a dump

Great to see pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, hotels, etc. reopening and I wish them all the best for the future. We have developed a simple, cost effective, stand alone solution that allows customers to place their food and drink orders directly from their table. Thus minimising face to face contact between staff & customers. (We all know that normally this isn’t necessarily desirable in the hospitality sector, but at the moment needs must). It is completely customisable, so can be designed to suit each premises. One challenge is going to be ensuring customer confidence and achieving that fine balance between demonstrating a sanitised and safe environment and yet keeping things as close to 'the old normal' as possible. The introduction of mobile ordering technology will increase staff productivity and has been shown to boost revenue by 13% on average. As your staff will not be standing waiting for your customers to decide what they want they will be able to be more attentive, just in new ways! The system will help you adhere to government guidelines and add to reassuring your customers, and staff, that their safety is paramount. Could this enhance steps that are being implemented already? Take a look at speedyorder.co.uk and see what you can get for FREE.
